December Update
I sent the card away for our team gift. I did not get the telescope as planned- it wasn't one of the choices for the prize bracket. I ordered a handheld color tv! Sorry if this is a disappointment to anyone, I think that will sell many more raffle tickets in the '07 year.I am hoping Receiving won't kick it back as a personal package :P I'll email for you to come have a look, if you'd like, when it arrives.
Along those same lines- would anyone be willing to work on a quilt with me to raffle at (or before) Relay? I'm not a very experienced quilter, so I thought I could start, pass it off to the next person, then to the next- depending on how many volunteers we got. I think we can pull this off if we start early, and there are some (strangely) beautiful breast-cancer ribbon fabrics I've seen at Wal-Mart. I was thinking a very simple quilt, a couple different sorts of squares with the breast cancer ribbon, a pink gingham edging, and a larger pink ribbon appliqued in the center? Not a Queen-size or anything, but a wall-hanging grade quilt. Let me know!
I would like for our team to start meeting monthly in January to prepare for the Relay season. I have a Relay meeting tonight and should have more news soon!
